A young Princess is careless with her possessions and gets help from a frog. The frog asks for her companionship in return. But when he approaches her, she treats him with disgust and avoids him.. The frog persists, and her parents learn of the promise. She is told one cannot break a promise and she must let the frog stay with her as agreed. After the third night, she awakes to a prince and learns that he had been under a spell and by staying together they have broken the enchantment.
